GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES Playgroup a weekly gathering of mums and dads with pre-school children to play and support each other (9.00-11.00am each Tuesday during school terms) Sunday School a weekly gathering of children of primary school age (prep to year 7) for learning the basic stories of the Christian faith and doing fun activities (each Sunday at 9.45am during school terms) School Family Services a special worship service, involving primary school children from Good Shepherd Lutheran College. Held twice per term at 9.30am Sunday morning on the following dates during 2008 - March 16, May 25, June 15, July 27, August 31, October 26 and November 16 Kid's Bible Camp a week long camp in January for children in years 4 to 7 to learn more about the Bible and God’s love for them Confirmation a weekly time of teaching, service, outreach and building relationships for high school aged young people to grow in their faith Christian Life Week an annual week long camp in the July school holidays for high school aged young people to make some new friends, engage in some exciting activities and be stretched and encouraged in their faith (July 7-11, 2008) Men's Group a time for men to share a meal and a drink, in various locations, for building friendship and spiritual encouragement (twice per school term) Women's Study Group a weekly gathering of women for studying God’s Word, building friendship, sharing their faith and supporting each other Women's Fellowship group a time for women to share a meal or go to an event together, in various locations, for mutual friendship and spiritual encouragement (twice per school term) Home fellowship groups a home based gathering of people to encourage each other in faith, study God’s word and pray together while enjoying Christian fellowship Congregational BBQ / Picnic A monthly gathering of families at the Noosa river (on Gympie Tce), for fellowship, food and recreation (first Sunday of each month at 4.00pm)
